Gyrotonic Sessions & Alternative Exercise Classes
Michelle teaches private sessions and group exercise classes as a vehicle for deeper embodiment; as a way to connect more intimately with ourselves, celebrate our body’s uniqueness and find greater joy in being alive. She teaches clients to move from the inside out and develop the body’s natural intelligence to move through the world with dignity and grace.
Gyrotonic Sessions include personalized exercise classes using state-of-the-art equipment. Based on principles of yoga, tai chi and gymnastic training, Gyrotonic classes lengthen, tone and energize the body. You are guided through a 50 minute session that addresses spinal flexibility, strength, longevity and stress relief.
Michelle has been a professional dancer, yoga teacher, and Somatics researcher for over 25 years. She has certifications in many body-based therapies including Gyrokinesis/Gyrotonic, Pilates, Thai Massage and Reiki. Michelle combines these skills with clinical experience as a Physical Therapist Assistant to address common issues associated with aging such as joint replacements, osteoporosis, shoulder injuries, neck and back pain. Her private practice specializes in injury prevention and strength for women 50+ to keep clients moving and thriving in every decade of life.
